WATCHWORD - Access to CINEMA

WatchWord is a groundbreaking ‘always-on’ cinema closed captioning system which enables D/deaf, deafened, and hard of hearing people to go to the movies whenever they like, choosing which film to watch based on its title, rather than its time slot.

How WatchWord works
WatchWord smart glasses are worn on their own or over normal glasses and alongside hearing aids and cochlear implant processors. Movie captions appear on the glasses lens, so users can watch the film and read the captions without having to look away from the screen and miss out on the action.
